The Bristol International Salon of Photography has been a leading international exhibition of photography since 1946. It is an exhibition of slides and digital images open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world and encompasses all styles of photography from the traditional to the avante garde

The Salon is conducted under the approved rules of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and under the patronage of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) and the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP). As a result of the efficient running of previous Salons these three organisations have awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for presentation to the top entries in the exhibition. Award winners and acceptances will count towards the granting of PSA & FIAP ratings.
